Seconds Sheepskin Rug
These luxurious long-wool sheepskins are seconds of our British Sheepskin Rugs.
Made from British-reared lambs, these machine-washable rugs are wonderfully versatile and add fabulous texture to contemporary or traditional interiors — drape one over your sofa, favourite chair, or kitchen bench to add instant warmth and texture, or place it on the floor to create a cosy, inviting spot. Timeless in style and made to last, these pieces add a classic accent to your home that endures both interior trends and wear over time. Thanks to their soft and supportive fleece, they also work beautifully as a medical sheepskin, helping to quickly relieve pressure points and provide comfort for aching limbs, shoulders, legs or feet.
Classified as seconds, these are rugs with minimal flaws that do not quite meet our standard specifications. Each piece is unique in shape and character, reflecting the breed and life of the sheep. You'll find that the flaws vary, from slight discolouration, tiny areas of baldness or slightly uneven shape. Most have no visible flaws at all, but each rug has a wonderfully thick, long pile.
- Size: Approx. 66-95cm long x 60cm wide
- Composition: 100% British-reared lambskins
-
Origin: Tanned in the UK
Product Care
To clean, take it outside and give it a good shake and brush with our bamboo sheepskin brush. Brush regularly to help maintain and bring out the best in the wool fibres.

Origin & Sustainability
These beautiful rugs are made from sheepskin, a naturally biodegradable, renewable and sustainable material. Classified as 'seconds', they are made from natural materials that would otherwise go to waste. Our seconds are a by-product of the food industry, where the animals are farmed in an ethical and sustainable environment here in the UK.
These sheepskins are produced in Devon by Britain’s oldest established sheepskin tannery, which has been working in Buckfastleigh on the edge of Dartmoor for over 200 years. Local lambskins are carefully selected and tanned using traditional techniques handed down through generations of skilled craftsmen.
